Crisis Prevention and Intervention
Utilizing the ‘Ounce of Prevention’ pedagogy to address crisis; training proactively equips participants with crisis management principles thereby minimizing the likelihood of violent behaviour when faced with adversarial situations.
Student Intervention
Roderick has provided conflict management/life skills training and intervention in both in-school and school away from school models for behaviourally challenged students. In addition he has provided conflict management training mandated by principals to suspended students during in school suspensions.

Roderick has been working with youth since 2000. Roderick understands the myriad of issues impacting marginalized and barriered students and works with them to build capacity via raising awareness, imparting the benefits of education and implementing training.

In partnership with school boards, Roderick provides reintegration strategy supporting students who are suspended or who face suspension prepare for re-entry to their home school. By providing students with culturally sensitive conflict management skill training necessary in today’s school setting, it will mitigate the likelihood of further behaviour warranting discipline/suspension.

Court Appointed Anger Management
Have you been charged with a violent offence? Did anger get the best of you and now you’ve found yourself in conflict with the law? Is your reputation at stake because you lost control? Has the court instructed you to attend anger management?

Comprehensive anger management and conflict resolution program for individuals who have been ordered by the court to undergo anger management training. Participants will learn to recognize triggers, develop an awareness of their anger style, find effective methods of controlling their anger, improve communication skills and employ effective conflict resolution principles. All sessions are facilitated by Roderick, National Anger Management Association Specialist.

Group and individual sessions available. Upon completion of the course participants are issued a certificate of completion which is recognized by courts throughout Canada and the USA.
